Apollo is a 19 years old black percheron gelding and holds a special place in our hearts! He was born on the home farm Elizabeth grew up on and was given to her as a graduation gift! He's just under 18 hands and a bundle of love. Apollo has been providing rides for our community since he was approximately 5 years old! If you have seen us doing hay rides, then you have most likely also seen Apollo.
Minor and Apollo are our "typical team" you will see working together. He is a beautiful dapple grey percheron gelding who is technically owned by the youngest in our family, Oliver. Minor has had a lot of experience working in the public! He was purchased from a farm that used to do a garbage route with horses in the Middlebury area! Minor is reliable and will give every event his whole heart.
Belle is our newest addition purchased for our daughter a couple of years ago. Belle came from a very loving home and used to teach college students the art of driving horse drawn equipment in Orleans County VT. When you think about patience, this horse has a bundle of it! She is quiet and sweet and loves to work with our youngest kids or our biggest adults who are a little bit more nervous than others.
